Pemmz X NVIDIA Goes to Campus: Opening the Era of AI in Civil Engineering

Recap of the Pemmz X NVIDIA Goes to Campus event at Trisakti University.

Jakarta, July 21, 2025 – As a concrete step to bridge higher education and cutting-edge technological advancements, Pemmz together with NVIDIA presented a technology education event titled Pemmz X NVIDIA Goes to Campus at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Trisakti University. Carrying the theme “NVIDIA Powers the World’s AI and Yours”, this event served as a space to explore the latest AI and GPU technologies, particularly the NVIDIA RTX 50 series, which are increasingly relevant in supporting academic and professional activities in the field of civil engineering.

The event featured several renowned speakers from the tech industry, such as Adrian Lesmono (Consumer Business Lead NVIDIA Indonesia), Patty Kusnandar (Country Marketing Manager NVIDIA Indonesia), Edhy T. Rahardjo (CEO Pemmz), Michael Andrian (CEO madebyhumans), and Matius Tirtawirya (Product Manager Consumer & Gaming Notebook ACER Indonesia). From the academic side, the event was also attended by Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ischak, M.T. (Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Trisakti University) and Ir. Muhammad Sapto Nugroho, S.T., M.T. (Lecturer of Construction Management Expertise Group, Trisakti University).

AI Technology for the Future of Engineering

More than 100 students attended and gained new insights on how artificial intelligence is beginning to be adopted in civil engineering practices. Adrian Lesmono explained that the presence of the NVIDIA RTX 50 Series GPUs can now accelerate technical processes such as 3D project visualization, building modeling, and rendering, which previously took a long time.

Meanwhile, Michael Andrian led an interactive demo session demonstrating the application of AI in students’ daily lives, ranging from efficiency in extracting project data to using AI to create complex yet precise visual materials.

Additionally, there was a talk show and Q&A session that took place dynamically, bringing together students, lecturers, and industry players to discuss the challenges and opportunities of implementing AI technology in the world of civil engineering.

Experience Zone & Social Media Challenge: Direct Exploration of AI Technology

The event also featured an Experience Zone, an interactive area where participants could try out the latest devices powered by the RTX 50 Series GPUs. Participants experienced firsthand how AI can simplify technical tasks such as architectural visual processing, and even gaming. A Social Media Challenge was also held to sharpen students’ creativity in creating educational content related to AI technology.

Pemmz and NVIDIA: A First Step in Education-Industry Collaboration

Through this program, Pemmz and NVIDIA demonstrated their commitment to promoting the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in higher education. Not merely introducing tools, but also building a deep understanding of how AI and GPUs can be real solutions in the field of civil engineering—from the classroom to the professional world.

Pemmz X NVIDIA Goes to Campus is expected to be the starting point of broader collaboration between the education sector and the tech industry, equipping engineering students with the skills and insights needed to face future challenges.
